Entgegen allen Wettervorhersagen erwartete uns auf Burg Bernstein ( Burgenland ) ein strahlend schöner Sommertag. Die Burg wurde erstmals im 13. Jahrhundert erwähnt und ist heute im Besitz der Familie Almásy.. Nach einer Mittagspause mit Kaffee und Kuchen im Innenhof, erhielten wir noch eine kurze Burgführung durch einige Innenräume. Inspiriert durch die vielen Motive im inneren und äußeren Burghof malten wir alle noch ein weiteres Aquarell.
Contrary to all weather forecasts, we had a sunny and beautiful summer day at Burg Bernstein (Burgenland). The castle was first mentioned in the 13th century and is now owned by the Almásy family. After a lunch break with coffee and cake in the inner courtyard, we got a short castle tour through some interior spaces. Inspired by the many motifs in the inner and outer courtyard, we all painted another watercolor.
